Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) released a notification for Entrance Exam of 400 Seats of Streams SA, SX and SB. Candidates who have an interest in Govt Jobs may Apply on or before 23-08-2017. Recruitment Details:

Streams: SA, SX, and SB

No of Seats: 400 Posts

Scholarship: Rs. 5,200-20,000

Required Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess the following Educational Qualification for the above Recruitment process.

Stream SA: Students studying in Standard XI can appear for SA provided they have scored a minimum of 80% marks in aggregate in Mathematics and Science subjects in Standard X.

Stream SX: Students studying in Standard XII can appear for SX provided they have scored a minimum of 80% marks in aggregate in Mathematics and Science subjects in Standard X and must score a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate in Science subjects (Physics/Chemistry/Biology) in Standard XII.

Stream SB: Students studying in 1st year of undergraduate programme can appear for SB provided they have scored a minimum of 80% marks in aggregate in Mathematics and Science subjects in Standard X, a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate in Science subjects (Physics/Chemistry/Biology) in standard XII, and must score a minimum of 60% marks in 1st year final examination.

Age Limit: There is no Age bar for this Process.

Selection Procedure: Candidates will be selected on the basis of Written Examination.

Application Fees: Candidates belonging to General/OBC have to pay Rs. 1000 and SC/ST/PWD Candidates have to pay Rs. 500 through online mode using Net-banking/Credit or Debit Card/e-Challan.

Application for KVPY-2017 must be done online only.

There are three steps to complete your application successfully;
Step  1.  Registration.
Step 2. Filling personal and academic details, choosing test centre and uploading photo, signature and other certificates as applicable.
Step 3.  Payment of application fees. Please note that you must pay the fees only at the KVPY application portal. This can be done either by using a credit card/ATM-Debit card/Net Banking or by downloading a e-challan from the application portal. No other means of payment will be accepted.  Once payment is successful and application submitted no refund will be done.
The application fee for KVPY-2017 are as follows:
           For General Category/OBC: Rs. 1000
           For SC/ST/PWD: Rs. 500
